Re-Registration Period Now Open for Honduran TPS Holders
Nationwide – On Tuesday, USCIS announced that the re-registration period for Honduran TPS holders will be open on June 5th 2018 through August 6th 2018. Those who re-register can extend their TPS designation until January 5th 2020.
The National TPS Alliance, alongside CARECEN-LA recommend that Honduran TPS holders seek legal counsel as soon as possible as some of the re-registration information is complex and could generate confusion. It is encouraged to renew as early as possible to avoid employment disruptions.

The federal register notice can be found here.
In response to the Trump administration’s efforts to terminate the TPS program, TPS holders from across the country have mobilized and are currently fighting to #SaveTPS and pass legislation “The American Promise Act” and the “Secure Act” that guarantees a pathway to permanent residency to TPS holders of all nationalities.
